Beautiful Bordeaux nose. Deep cassis fruit and dry, earthy flavors. A very fine Haut-Medoc.

Showing very well. But also has years ahead. Wish I had more bottles to drink over the next 6 - 8 years.

Consumed over 3 days. Showing relatively young, easily a decade of life ahead.

Red fruit, floral notes, and light baking spice on the nose. The palate is quite savory with red currant fruit, herbal accents, some grippy tannins, and a medium-long finish. This is a very nice Haut-Bailly and it should drink well through the end of the decade.

Showed best on the third night and should have 10 more great years ahead... at least.

Badly oxidized and very unpleasant. Did not expect this with a relatively young Bordeaux blanc. Big Bummer.

Big wine and dark fruited but not overdone for my taste. Drinking beautifully now and did not seem in any danger of fading. 93

Dang I love the Triple Wood. Down to the last few sips of the bottle and quite sad that this is no longer available. Sigh...

Rich and ripe but nicely balanced with good acidity. A bit of warmth on the finish and it was not a bother for me. Delicious.

Gamay flavors dominate this blend. Not particularly elegant but tasty, bright, tart, crunchy fruit, some herbal and earthy character. Very nice.

Nice light rose. A bit mineral, soft floral notes, and easy fruit to splash down. Quite good and very fair price.

Quite sad as I could sense there was a beautiful wine beneath the TCA. At least I have one bottle left to look forward to...

This is quite good for base level CdP. Hard to call 90 or 91 points but I give the benefit based on 30 bucks paid. It has classic CdP flavors and plenty of structure to go a few more years if you want to test it. Very enjoyable wine.

Last bottle of 4 and the best bottle yet. This has softened up some and is getting more expressive. No hurry on these.

This did not seem fully expressive just yet. I am thinking another year or two of rest will help this wine to show better.

I tasted this twice and there was a difference between the two samples. The first taste had a spectacular minty freshness and felt almost weightless on the palate. The texture was stunning and it had an especially long finish. Very memorable. Perhaps the first bottle had been decanted for some time? The second taste, from another bottle, was still oustanding but seemed young and a bit would up. I'm scoring this with an average, but if the first taste was representative of what is to come, this could be a very special wine... one for the ages.

A bit sulphuric at first but blows off pretty quickly. High acid chardonnay and quite delicious.

Too ripe and sweet to my taste. I get some cola and brown sugar that I find in a lot of California Pinot Noir. Not what I am looking for in red Burgundy.

Half a glass at a work dinner and what a memorable half a glass it was. Beautiful nebbiolo with a kaleidoscope of floral notes on the boquet... it almost made me dizzy smelling this wine. And perfectly pure dried cherry fruit with tar on the palate with a soft, delicate texture. I could have put the whole bottle away but this one went very quickly. A heavenly wine even at a young age and I can only image the heights it will reach in another 10 - 20 years. 97+

Nicely balanced Southern Rhone wine. This has some slight earthy, rustic character and also nicely ripe fruit that is not overripe. This drinks well now and I'll plan to finish my remaining 2 bottles in the next 2 years.

Beautiful. And I think I enjoyed this even more a few years ago when it was younger and more vibrant. Age brings softer, rounder notes and some complexity but I slightly prefer the more vibrant, fresh character in youth.

Last had a bottle of this almost 3 years ago and this time around is was on another level. Much more expressive with the additional age and showing all of its beauty. If you still have these in your cellar you're in for a real treat. I don't know if Sauvignon Blanc gets any better. 96 or 97, Wow.

This could have been much better. There is no denying the quality of the fruit. There is real substance, nice texture, and the meaty character of Syrah fruit. But the oak is way overdone. There is a char that masks the fruit... and it must be the barrel influence. And the fruit is also overripe, picked too late. I can understand how some might like this style but it's not an easy drink. And I don't think it will get any better. Drink up.
