Pleasantly surprised that this 9 year old California chardonnay is holding up so well. I shouldn't be though because it's LITTORAI! My favorite domestic pinot and chardonnay producer. These definitely age well although IMHO it won't get any better. Drink up!

My last bottle.....thankfully. Virtually the same note as 6 months prior. 8 years of age and this is definitely over the hill! Took one sip and poured the rest down the drain. What a shame:(

Make no mistake that this is a Napa cab. Rich and lush with black and red fruit and zero heat on the finish despite 15.5% alcohol. Give it a vigorous decant and let it sit for 2+ hours before consuming.

Super ripe and on the decline. You can definitely taste the alcohol once the wine comes up to room temp.

Terrific Napa cab that needs time but has so much potential. Wait a couple of years or give it a 3+ hour decant.

Seriously one of the worst wines I've ever tasted. Purchased this due to all the love on the WB board. For $38 I could and should have spent my $$'s on a premiere Chablis. I have 1 bottle left....make me an offer.

This was terrible ~ oak, oak and more oak with toasted carmel notes and NO fruit. Virtually undrinkable. I should have drunk these within 3 years of release. Note these wines DO NOT AGE well!

Alas 2 fresh bottles! When they are on they are fantastic. Hopefully my remaining 5 bottles will show the freshness of these last two.

Purchased to see what all the fuss is about. Dry and tannic with very little fruit. 95 pts? Seriously?

No doubt that this is California Cabernet Sauvignon. Seductive and delicious right of of the bottle. It's going to be hard to keep my hands off of this. $65 bottle which is very reasonable given the quality.

Purchased a case of 375's from Wally's in Jan 2015. 3 out of 4 that I have opened have been dead with the 4th bottle being barely alive. Cork states V662

Popped & poured. WOW, this wine is hitting on all cylinders. It's in perfect balance ~ medium to full bodied with a rich fruit profile and that classic Chablis mineral note. This was an Outstanding bottle!

14.5% alc ~ purchased upon release. Decided to pull a mixed case from my locker. 2004 vs 2005 is like night and day. The 05's are a little lighter, more fruit forward, higher in acid, tart and have a sweeter component. I prefer the balance of the 04's at this stage in the game.

15.8% alc ~ At this young stage this is an oak monster with sweet tannin. Full bodied with notes of chocolate, black cherries and vanilla. Personally I would not age these wines too long based on the high alcohol level and low acid. They will more than likely turn raisiny and pruney. Note to self ~ consume by 2014.

A blend of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne and Viognier. Quite nice and surprisingly refreshing with loads of tropical fruit, nice acidity and a lengthy finish. Best when it comes up in temperature. No need to wait this is drinking well.

Drank way too early but I couldn't resist. Started a little tight but after 30 mins in the glass and letting the wine come up to room temp this really started to develop into a special wine. This was flat out delicious Wait a least 3+ years to let these settle down and start to pick up some weight.

Popped and poured. Graphite, olive, iron and a hint of wild berry dominate the palate. Finishes a bit hard and tannic. Perhaps a little air will help soften the edges. Overall a decent wine but nothing special.

Tasted blind. I liked this wine more than the group. Appealing for its sweet and rich fruit. Not as heavy as their popular cabernet and does not posses the chocolate notes. I own 2 bottles but have never tried this before. Thanks jn.

Medium golden in color. The nose is terrific with notes of honeysuckle and apricot. Medium to full bodied wine that is rich in texture with classic flavors of fig, nuts and lush tropical fruit. The only knock on this wine is that it has a tad bit of heat on the finish. Overall very enjoyable and interesting.

Purchased upon release. 65% Merlot 30% Cab Franc 5% Petit Verdot - 14.4% alc. Color is youthful and shows no sign of age. Medium bodied with notes of red fruit, tobacco and cedar. Slightly acid and austere, definitely developing tertiary characteristics.

Popped and poured. Day 1 - Massive oak and leather, this was very difficult to drink. Day 2 - with air the oak has integrated and some red and black fruits are starting to emerge. Amazing how this has actually turned a complete 360 in 24 hrs. I was ready to give up on this winery but we shall see........
