Brought to friend’s house for Thanksgiving (Jean). Once it opened, it was fabulous! Still lots of fruit, no tannins, just delicious!

first of 6 bottles we have. still young with moderate tannins on the back end, great deep color, fruit forward nose. We liked it and are looking forward to seeing how we feel about it in a year.

Last drank in 2009 and thought it had potential.

Drank at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor - paired wonderfully with our lunch. Crisp but not acidic and no overpowering oak....terrific!

Decanted for 3 hours and then poured back into bottle and brought to friend's house for dinner. Paired with delicious duck - it was perfect - smooth and silky without any tannins on the end - so glad I saved this bottle for a special occasion!

Mature already, the well integrated tannins and cherry flavors disguise the high alcohol content. Not nearly as raisiny/pruney as other Amarones, but very good.
