despite other reviews, I felt this offering was about in the right spot for consumption. Fruit present, although not as bright perhaps. well balanced with a medium length. Delivered well IMHO. Drink over the next few years.

Seared ribeyes..... Spectacular wine that delivered beautifully. Definitely ready with well integrated tannins but this can easily last another 5-7 years. Solid and as one would expect

Spectacular, velvety mouth coating pennzoil nectar. Tar. I can't describe the experience. Foie gras, blue cheese and panettone accompanied this most special wine. All 10 at the table were blown away

faint bubbles, but pure nutty elegance. If you are a fan of old champagnes, this will deliver for you.

This is solid and impressive. Tons of fruit, and likely would serve well with further cellaring, which is my plan for my remaining bottles. 3-5 years and it should be hitting its stride.

Fabulous wine. It does not hold up to the 96, expectedly. Still have runway with this wine, but not sure it will improve with further age. I wish I had a few more bottles so I could find out.

Such a masculine wine, but but with curves, and a subtlety that only comes with age. I love this wine. Has a bit left in the tank but I doubt it will get any better..... why wait. went beautifully with roasted beef tenderloin

This wine delivered. lots of tertiary notes, mushroom, leather, but still some background berry fruit as well. Quality stuff. This wine still has a runway, although it may be at its precipice now. Very enjoyable. Wish I had more to try in a few years.

delivering nicely. No change to my note from 2012 except perhaps a bit more refined tannic structure. Solid stuff. Paired nicely with herb crusted chateau briand. Still can hold for 5 years

Typical Paillard, good value, and lovely. A bit sweet and unidimensional but at this price point it is a standout in my opinion.

powerful and perhaps lacking a bit of elegance. fruit bomb. certainly boozy mouth feel at 15% alcohol. not sure this will improve with time, but certainly this wine has a few years left.

Needed 1.5 hours to open. was a fine wine and as expected from a quality producer. Was tight at first, it really needed air for a few hours. Was fantastic as it opened. Can go for 5 more years.

Powerhouse. A bit tight and tannins still gripping the mouthfeel. loads of fruit, and definitely a well crafted wine with substance and power. IMHO this wine is not ready yet. I will try again in 3-5 years.

This is essentially in its sweet spot now. Lovely depth, layered attack and medium-fine tannins that are not obtrusive at all. This wine delivered beautifully.

Delivered as expected. Not blown away but very solid. Has the juicyness of a St Julien but perhaps a bit light on the finish. Overall very good bang for buck. Ready now, but can go for 5 more Yeats I think.
