Concerned when I took the foil off as the top of the cork was stained, then split when I tried to remove it. Looks to be some seepage but the wine wasn't overly compromised. Aged very well and I wish I had another to check in on in a couple of years. Tannins are fully integrated leaving a smooth and silky wine with gobs of red and black fruit. Not for the faint of heart.

Lovely mature Bordeaux drinking really well. Drank it with braised short ribs. On the nose more tertiary notes of leather and forest floor with medium+ tannins which are well integrated. The palate offers more mature black fruits, leather and a medium+ finish. Two more to enjoy!
