Decanted for two hours before we drank the wine slowly over a period of another four hours. Medium to dark ruby colour. Red and dark fruit, black currant, blackberry, plum, some herbaceous notes, chocolate, some cedar, some tobacco, spices, some graphite, and a hint of mint, with medium-level acidity, well-integrated tannin, and very good length. Develops additional complexity as it breathes further. Broad, lacking focus and precision, but balanced and enjoyable. Integrated and very smooth on day two. Drink (with extended aeration) or hold.

This is a 15 years old Pauillac. It took one hour to open up. Aromas of old leather, tobacco and coffee . Dark red and smooth at taste . A pleasant Pauillac which pair with strong cheese and food.

Still drinking very young but with great balance and freshness. Tons of tightly woven fruit, ripe tannins and early stage tertiary notes. This will be very good in 5 years and keep for a long time.

Substantially improved or just a better bottle compared to 6 months and a year ago. Comes into its own and drank well over the course of dinner and for a few hours after that. This was really complete, well integrated and enjoyable. Didn't decant this one which may have helped.
