Best vintage of this wine I've ever had? I think so...
Starting to show tertiary stuff, but I'm certain this will move forward at a slow pace from here on out, this wine is always rather savory, never primary... aromas of cracked black peppercorns, seared steak, autumn leaves, bee pollen, raspberry, blackberry, strawberry, dried roses, myriad airy herbal and spicy tones... just medium-bodied, but there's impact and depth to spare, the fruit is amped up on the palate and the tannins are fine and velvety, acid and spice sizzle together beautifully... finish is complex, earthy and spice, long and engaging, ripe tangy fruit is perfectly poised to offset all the non-fruit intrigue... this is superb and will be worth following another 10 years, at least, in a cold cellar 20+ shouldn't be a problem...

Tasty, interesting wine. Intriguing mix of tangy red fruit and exotic spices. But $64? Not a good value I’d say. Tastes like it should cost half that.

This is a beautiful wine. Very low tannins, but it is aging gracefully and probably has years left on it. It is soft and elegant.

Red/brown, aroma of red fruits, damp earth, flavour of oak, nutmeg, damson gin, touch of cherry. Very dry and fine. Best with food I expect.
