Excellent! Hour or so decant and it was singing. Very well balanced: Terroir, Tannins & Fruit, everything comes together here. Add in a bit of leather, very mild tobacco and you have an excellent wine

Dekantert. 4 år siden sist, og vesentlig bedre, man langt unna sitt potensiale. Pent og pyntelig, men ikke mer. Vent 2 år med neste.
Siste tredjedel dag 3, og kommet virkelig til seg selv, og der jeg håpa den ville være. Balanse, ingenting stikker ut, herlig!

Clear medium garnet with medium + flavors of fresh and dry,blackberry , black currants.secondary and tertiary notes of tobacco, chocolate, leather, creamy texture, forest floor and nutmeg.
The wine is dry with medium + acidity, medium tannins, alcohol and body. The intensity is medium + and the finish is long. The quality is outstanding and it can be drunk now with potential for aging a bit further.

Took some coaxing of 3 hours in decanter to get anything to come out but this was quite good, if slightly amped up on the alcohol level.
Dinner at Larkin's. I had half.
