This was great. Truly a classic Corton. Decanted and drank over 2 hrs. Was more lush upon opening which gave way to more acidity over time.
Aroma of purple iris, white flowers and a hint of white tea. Reminded me of a fresh meadow in Provence or Burgundy. Lovely.
Flavor profile elegant and feminine with a looong finish. Faiveley over delivers and punches above its weight. Very smooth and elegant easy to drink. Love 13% ABV. In a good drinking window but think upside from here, will be interesting what this will be in 5 years, very possibly no change! Time will tell.

Inviting, but still youthful, almost impetuous. Red, clear, subtle fruit, some hint of iron. Gripping structure, great complexity and a crazy length. A giant in the making! 95+

(Faiveley Corton-Clos des Cortons Faiveley) Medium cherry red color with pale meniscus; roses, tart cherry, red fruit nose; roses, tart red fruit, tart cherry, mineral palate; needs 8-plus years; long finish
(Faiveley Corton-Clos des Cortons Faiveley) Dark cherry red color with pale meniscus; nice ripe, luscious, raspberry, cherry, roses, baked raspberry nose that also somehow conveys a sense of a grassy meadow in Spring; rich, tasty, outstanding, poised, layered, roses, ripe cherry, raspberry, mineral, baked cherry palate with depth, needs 5-7 years; long finish

Great spot now. Juicy, tangy, iron earth red and black fruits. Great from first pour. Excellent length and complexity now.
