Prunes, dark fruit, iron, earth and stems on the nose. Palate was big and structured for a village wine. It possessed lots of power and weight, but just lacking the kind of Dujac finesse you expect from his old wine. Perhaps it is because its his Chambolle not Morey. 91-92

Eric Levine at The Ledbury: Cloudy. Slightly cheesy stewed nose. A touch of prune. Very smooth and complete and mellow. Chambolle delicacy. Long. Comforting. ***1/2

Ledbury lunch with Keith Prothero: Served blind. Cloudy, and there was a touch of TCA. A shame, as one could sense a really beautiful wine underneath the taint.
