I'm not super familiar with this genre, but thought this was very enjoyable. Displayed a relatively light color given 10yrs of age, not so much a yellow as a very light golden brown, almost reminiscent of a very young sauternes. Very pleasant nose, with notes of roasted nuts, ripe papaya and perhaps even a touch of vanilla. Palate was nicely balanced with some stone fruit nicely enveloped with an appropriate amount to oak that lead to a medium/long finish that brought out more of the exotic fruit notes. Acidity was very low and viscosity high, adding to the length and overall enjoyment. I served this a touch too warm (red wine temp) which I regret, because the secondary sweet elements have not offset from acidity, so it would have benefited from being served slight colder. Really nice, was a crowdpleaser and is an a terrific drinking window now.

Toasted almonds and cocconut on the nose with Peach fruit. Very complex and interesing now. Definately ready to drink. Be prepared for thick mouthfell and low acid for food pearing.

Needed about an hour to open up, then just gorgeous. Full bodied with lots of honeysuckle and stone fruit, a slightly oily texture, and a great finish. No signs of fading.

Notes florales, fruits exotique, assez complexe, melon miel, pamplamousse. Petite pointe acidulée en finale. Le vin est passablement gras et il a évolué tout au long de la soiree!

Incredible how this basic Condrieu of Guigal exposes: lots of white flowers, spicy, exotic fruit, sufficient freshness. Fantastic P/Q.
