  • Few hour slow ox. Pale straw color. Pear, gardenia, toasted oak, gravel, dried apricot, and orange rind. Smooth, dry, tart, citrusy palate. 100% Viognier

This will improve significantly in one or two years. It should be consumed in less than five years because it doesn’t have the acidity to go much longer. Aged 10 months in 30% new oak.

  • Kleur: Licht strogeel. 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 11 + Smaak / Afdronk: 16 + Algemeen / potentieel: 8 = 90/100

Colour: Light straw yellow. Aroma / bouquet: Still limited expressive at this stage, but already fantastically pleasant. In addition to a hint of citrus and some unripe pineapple, especially the characteristic aromas of luychee, stone fruit (especially apricot jam), orange peel and some wax. Taste / Aftertaste: Subtle, fresh sour start. Pleasant and filmy mouthfeel. Retronasal impressions of stone fruit. Long and pleasant finale. General / potential: Another vintage of a wine that has never disappointed me. 50 + Color: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 11 + Taste / Aftertaste: 16 + General / potential: 8 = 90/100

  • Vintus Trip preceeded by 2 days in Paris; 4/14/2023-4/20/2023: To drink within 5yrs max. 2021 was a challenging vintage, as 50% was lost to frost. This will carry over to a 10% loss in 2022. Picked at 14%, but it was a challenge to ripen in 2021. Not as white peach, but lots of suave pear.

  • Nez très fleuri, lychee... Un peu d'amertume, légère sucrosité, abricot confit.
