Definitely very light. The tannins have completely softened and this wine should be consumed in the near future. Reminiscent of a burgundy (Gevrey), very pretty wine buy we should have served this one first.

Had it next to the '61 Duhart at Bone's Steakhouse. The '91 was lighter in color and flavor than the '61. The '91 was almost like a Burgundy than a 23 year old Bordeaux. Great wine, just lighter than I prefer.

A vertical tasting of Château Duhart-Milon 1975-2012 (Restaurant Vineum, Rotterdam, NL): Coffee nose, but also vegetal; quite a thin palate but the oaky make-up hides some of the wrinkles, tart acidity; short finish, Granny Smith, quite (a) tart.
