With a strong floral note that adds to the candied orange, apricot and honey coated pineapples in the nose. Lush, sweet and rich, with a blast of acidity that really keeps this going. Over the past few years, this estate has really upped their game. 92 - 94 Pts

Wow! Delicious. Great value.
Color: Lt-med gold straw.
Slightly advanced color for a very young Sauternes. No need to age this wine, it drinks beautifully now.
Nose: Beautiful, intense, perfumey nose of honey, pears, apricot, pineapple brulee.
Pal: Full body, very good, lush concentration in the mouth, and sweet (of course). Good acidity. Long finish. Utterly delicious!
If you love Sauternes, like I do, this is rock solid. And great value!
Drinking window: Now-2027 (from 375 ml).

First look at Sauternes 2015 from barrel (Camping du Lac Bordeaux): Was the sample off? The aromatics were quite clearly medicinal and not particularly pleasing, but the wine was fine on the palate... Let's try another one later this week in Bordeaux!
