I think it was my first time with one of these wines. It poured a bit darker than I expected, but could have been because we were trying it out of a shot glass which prob isn't the right vehicle for this wine. Totally fine set of sweetness. Not at the same level as the '98 Guiraud, but not with the same years either.

Kleur: Kristal helder, geel goud, grote viscositeit en veel tranen.
Aroma: ananas, banaan, honing, amandel, cognac, lichte mineralen.
Mond: molligheid +1,5 zuren +1,5 , lange afdronk van 5 - 6 sec.
Gerecht: Goede match met blauw geaderde en sterke kaas.

Geel goud, zuiver en vol aroma. In de neus geel fruit van ananas, banaan, lychee, aroma's van amandel en cognac en honing. Molligheid iets hoger dan zuren maar toch nog voldoende frisheid. In de mond een lange afdronk van 5 - 6 sec. Past bij gebak met amandel maar ook foie gras zal niet misstaan.
