An Evening with Francois Audouze (67 Pall Mall): It was a monster of vivacity and energy and belies its age. A crystal clear golden hue with a faint nose of dates, prunes, figs and nuts. The palate is just incredible with a freshness and balance that keeps going. WOW

Acker Auction Chicago (Sixteen Restaurant): Some mousse left at the beginning. White chocolate and a firm, liqueur like texture. Still great acidic backbone. Golden color. Very earthy. Nice.

Acker Merrall Inaugural Chicago Auction (Trump International Hotel): Just trace hints of fizz to start. Really wonderful earthy, mushroom flavors with good textures and surprisingly vibrant acidity.
