Almond and brioche. The oxidative notes are taking over for my tastes. This has significantly declined in my taste since my prior bottle in 2021. Drink up.

Opened by Lostverse. I last had this in 2014 and it shown better then. I previously had the 1988, 1995, 1998 and 1999 vintages of this wine. Disgorged November, 2014. Deep yellow color. Lighter bead. A deeper Champagne with almond and toast notes. Well aged and showing a little oxidative note. Drink now. 89 points.

Our last bottle. Deep straw yellow color. Roasted pear and orchard fruit aromas with a nice floral element as well. Apple, nutty elements, wet dough and marshmallow flavors. Excellent; at peak for my palate.

A great showing. I preferred this over a '12 Cristal (obviously too young).
Very savory with yeast, ginger, spices, citrus rind. Not for neophytes! A great bargain at the $55USD I paid years ago.
