(95-97 vvPunkte) 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot.

The wine opens with flowers, tobacco leaf, currants, herbs, and a touch of spice. Medium/full-bodied, elegant, refined, fresh, and vibrant, there is a gorgeous sense of purity to the red fruits along with vivid freshness and a touch of spice in the endnote. The wine is aging in a combination of 50% new, French oak, and 35% Amphora. The wine is a blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc. Drink from 2028-2055. Drink from 2028-2055. 94-96 Pts
En-Primeur campaign for the 2021 vintage; 4/25/2022-4/29/2022 (Bordeaux): From half bottle and decanted before serving. Liquorice, quite reticent initially then shows polished oak, a slightly green herbaceous note, a little peppery spice and, with vigorous agitation, a little black hued fruit. In the mouth it has medium plus intensity acidity, flavours of blackcurrant with a little cranberry note, broad, alcohol warmth is intrusive, tannins are drying, chalky and enamel stripping with a slightly green underpin, touches of peppery spice on the finish. Meh
