Had it for Boxing Day 2023: Dark, impenetrable red color with purplish rim. On the nose: the giv away eucalyptus, mint with mature red berries; some sweet fruit shining through. Acidity and tannins well integrated, even if still young. On the palate: Brambles, fresh acidity and some grainy tannins,; here a little less meshed together. Pleasant mouthfeel; medium weight, coming well together. was well worth its price even though I think this wine would be immeasurably better in 8 to 10 years.

Excellent wine! the eucalyptus nose gave it away as coming from Coonawarra right away. Dark red, complex bouquet, on the palate full, nicely restrained, smooth and elegant. I liked it a lot.

Coonawarra Roadshow (Masonic Hall, Goulburn street): Blackcurrant, sweet spice, cream, polished oak, very slight mint and plain chocolate. Savoury and slightly sour black fruit, tannins are a little green. Meh

Bought a bottle to help decide whether to buy some for the cellar. Dense and dark in the glass. Nose and palate closed as expected but what was there was pure cabernet with signs of good structure and balance. Needs to be left alone for 5-10 more years (at least) but should reward well after that.
