Slight signs of dried seepage under the capsule. Did not decant. Dark fruit (black cherry, blackberry, slight blueberry), graphite, slight cedar, nice spice, slight leather/ tobacco, good acidity. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable.

This didn't really meet expectations. Nothing terrible about it, but lacking in personality and rather flat. I love my Bordeaux to be ancient, but this one seems old before its time.

Old wooden pier, cedar, rum-drenched raisins, winegum with berry flavor (black basset's?). Taste of sour but very sun ripe cherries. Decent tannin structure. Great length. Not too old! Might hit around 92 with the right circumstances.

Muddy red and brown with an aroma of flowers, wet dirt, and cooked fruit. This was wonderful! On the attack, red fruit gave way to dark, and cinnamon and spice emerged on the mid-palate through the finish. Really enjoyable though not amazing. Better than your average 34 year old bottle.

On a rainy day in California, I opened this wine and was both surprised and pleased, nose of saddle leather, cigar box, and forest floor, same on the palate, medium body, showing its age gloriously, elegant, delicious tasting, mouth filling fruit, enjoyed over the next 5 hours, long, long, flavorful finish.
