Deep color, no aged look. Nice cherry fruit, sous bois, softened acidity, and just a touch of tannin. A little thin in the middle and a short finish, but still in a very nice place. Paired with spaghetti with meatballs and sausage.

Not much bricking. sweet, slightly stewed nose. Some cherry, plum and candied fruit. Pleasant but not particularly complex. Light with a short finish. Well past its prime.

Wow. Not a hint of bricking. Fresh, fruity nose with some secondary earth tones. This wine, which really wasn't constructed to age this long was a wonderful surprise. Fresh red fruits dominated, with some tobacco and wet leaves. I'm not sure it will last a lot longer -- all the acids have softened and what's left is a delightful wine which I suspect will go down-hill rapidly from here.
