  Fairly light bodied. Strawberry. Low tannins. Easy to drink but not memorable.

  I've always liked this Ruffino Riserva Ducale and this vintage is no exception. Good comments from others. Not bad QPR at ~$20....

  A solid, approachable Chianti Classico. Clear ruby red color, with red fruit and some darkness on the nose. Dry red fruit and dark notes on the open, smooth tannins, zippy midpalate, with a lingering dry cherry-ish finish. Better with food.

  The color is a deep ruby in the glass turning to a slight pale pink on the rim. The nose you detect notes of strawberry and cherry. On the early pallet, you pick up rich concentrated grapes with some juiciness. On the mid pallet pick up much more tannins and earthiness finishing with a higher acidity than expedited. Not overly long and quite drinkable.
