  To old to score and certainly past it's prime. Decanted for an hr then tried it. To much alcohol to taste anything else. 3-4 hrs in and you can get a hint of something smooth once the alcohol fades a bit but it's a very brief moment of pleasure.
  Lots of sediment in the bottle and I wasn't expecting much for the 30 dollars spent on it. A more current Antinori or Ruffino would be money better spent but this was a fun novelty.

  Naso inizialmente un po' chiuso su terra umida e sangue, con un po' aria svela un bellissimo lato floreale e una mineralità più chiara. Bocca fresca, gustosa, per niente vecchia e che invita alla beva. Gran bella bottiglia, grazie Fabrizio.

The other wines I purchased from this collector’s widow were all remarkable, so I have no reason to doubt the assignation…just wanted to be clear. Not much left in this wine, it was a light brick color and getting clear around the edges. The fruit was hanging on by a thread, but there, if a little tart, and the tannins had faded to a weak tea. There were some pleasant notes of herbs and clay and strawberries (and had there been better secondary evolution towards tones of the forest floor or flora of the Tuscan evenings, this might have been a rewarding wine), but, all things considered, I couldn’t recommend this wine.
