  • True pioneers, the very first ones to plant Pinot in the region, todays focus is on sustainable practices. Wine was aged for 12 months in FR oak, 23% new. Medium intensity sophisticated aroma of earth, dry strawberries, meat, medicinal hints, smoke, hints of dried plums and spices. Medium body, impressive earthy red fruits from this persistent Pinot at 19 years of age, some plumy and smoky nuances too, saline and herbal edges, velvety tannins, medium acidity still holding on all components in perfect harmony.

  • Goodbye tasting for Michael (Michaels appartment): Red color with an orange hue. Typical Pinot Noir driven nose with notes of earth, strawberry, licorice and milk chocolate. On the palate the same notes come through of strawberry, sweet red cherry, herbs and some boiled candy. Very delicious and easy drinking with polished, velvety texture. Juicy, sweet fruit and good acidity balance makes this a pleaser without edges.
