  My last bottle of this. I appreciate the convenience of the screw cap after fighting with some older corks! Really nice fresh PN fruit in the NZ style. Crunchy red fruit palate with a reasonable amount of spicy and earthy complexity. Beautiful freshness and acid to match hearty fruit. Great with food as it stands tall. 90+

  Very full bodied pinot, very enjoyable with grilled chicken. A bit of funk on the nose, but the fruit comes through. Very nicely balanced with nice smooth finish. Lots of dark fruits, bit of funk, but adds up to a really nice NZ Pinot Noir.

  Very enjoyable with grilled Salmon. As prior taster noted, very Burgundian nose (dirt / smoke / black cherry) and full bodied (earthy / spicy / black cherry / cola). High acids & great mouthfeel - medium finsih. Better with food today. Would buy again.

  I was very impressed by this wine. At first sniff, I would've bought that this was a burgundy, with its notes of funky earth. With time, the aromas evolved to be more recognizable as NZ pinot. On the palate, this gave itself away as new world because of its ripe concentration and power, but the fruit is well done and tasty. Probably the best NZ pinot I've had to date.
