  • Tasted next to 2005 Méo Nuits Boudots. Medium red. Scents of fennel, cranberry, and earth. Medium to lighter body. Lean and slightly tart black fruit, anise, very mineral, moderate tannins. Impressive cut but this didn’t gain much flesh or texture with 3 hours of air. This could well be in the midst of a cranky, unyielding phase, but I was disappointed with it nonetheless, especially in comparison to the Older Nuits. Curious to see what happens over time.

  • Meo-Camuzet Vosne-Romanee Les Chaumes 2010.
    Leken i anslaget.

  • Served blind. Very fine tannins. Extreme smoothness. Silky. Long and elegant. Slightly feminine.

  • It’s profile is a bit dark to me which is full of dark fruit, violet, earthy and spices.
Body is full and heavy with silky tannins and long finish.
Good bottle but just not the aromas that I like from burgundy.

  • Meo Camuzet Dinner (ST Home): An ex St. Louis bottle. A compelling and balanced wine. While for some friends, this bottle did not stand out within the broader line up, I found it to be one of the most balanced and complete wines.
