The nose is a perfect balance of wild confit cherries, raspberry, dried rose and smoky flavours of autumn forest. In the mouth, the wine is powerful but the tanins have been tamed by carefull aging. The balance between fruit, minerality and tertairy aromas is just perfect. Aromas are extremely precise and beautifully balanced. This what we dream off when thinking of great mature burgundy.

11 Burgundy Tasting During the La Bonne Vie Wine Tasting Dinner (Lakewood, California): Rich, fruity nose, touch of orang and light, thin in the glass, slightly earthy, nice nose of leather, orange peel and earth, very nice, little short on the finish, 3 years too, too old.
