  Deep dark truffle notes; soft, balanced, dark earthy component with some berry fruit balancing it all off and a long finish. Superb, great balance and structure. My WOTN. Tuscan blind Dirty Dozen at La Paella. ranked: 2nd out of 10 wines.
  Very close on this one and guessed a '10 Cab-Mer. I didn't realize '11 was such a killer year in Tuscany

  initial bright fruit quite surprising , but when tasted a few hours later the fruit had faded and the wine was a brooding beast that needed hours of contemplation
  early in it's drinking window

  醒酒七个小时，深宝石红色，闻香是香草奶油伴随着成熟黑果，入口酸度高，收口微甜，结构漂亮，单宁紧致，颗粒细腻，酒液丝滑，黑加仑，奶油，辛香料，漂亮结构和华丽口感的结合，余味香草奶油和巧克力的味道。醒到三四个小时的时候状态还有些紧，能感觉到酒体很扎实，口感层次丰富，但有点化不开，单宁也略紧涩。七个小时的时候终于绽放，最佳状态。一支结构宏大，热情洋溢，风格现代的托斯卡纳梅洛。

  This wine just needs time. Opened the first bottle a few years ago and could tell that it wasn't ready. Not integrated, not nuanced, not balanced. Its getting there after 9 years....

  I had not expected a 2011 to be through its window. I guess just an off bottle. It reminded me of a horrible medicine in my childhood that my grand mother bought from a traveling sales person! A cure for all ills that made you feel better because it was so bad. Pouring this price point down the drain always brings a tear. Wine can be a lottery!
