This wine (L15.132, bottle # 10772) was decanted 90 minutes before dinner but did not fully open until about the three hour mark. It's a delicious, fragrant, classic Nebbiolo with a touch of richness. It's got a great structure, firm acid and tannin, with both tart and sweet cherries competing for attention, a slight and pleasing medicinal note, black tea, and a sappy, bittersweet finish. Drink to 2035. Good QPR.

Decanted 90 minutes before service. In the glass, a youthful, clear, saturated cherry with hints of blood orange at the rim. On the nose, cherries, strawberries, citrus, and a touch of oak. On the palate, cherries with a slight (but appealing) astringency, ripe strawberries, asphalt, and rosewater, on a moderately long finish. The kind of wine that plays nicely at table.

Medium light orange-brick red. Dark cherries, hazel, tea leaves, smoky, menthol and just plain awesome Barbaresco nose. Beautiful wine, so lively and fresh acidity, but at the same time starting to show developed notes. Outstanding Barbaresco

Tannic, red fruit, bold. Table wine with the typical Italian flavors.
