Château Cantenac-Brown Margaux GCC 2015 (14% ABV) 61% CS / 39% M A dark and powerful wine with still slightly roughening tannins, lots of cassis and liquorice on the nose, also cassis on the palate, some black cherries and blackberries, noble wood. The floral notes otherwise typical of a fine Margaux may be missed. The overall impression is more like a massive Napa Cabernet than a delicate Margaux. Nevertheless, a good wine to drink, especially with food! Nothing to criticise except a little more typical Margaux style! 93(-94) Second day: a little bit more flowery notes in the long long aftertaste. 94

One of the best C. Cantenac Browns I've tasted in a long long time. Aeration: 45min. Elegant balance, soft mouthfeel, low acidity, dark fruits, amazing graphite, ink, and subtle licorice. Pure opulence with a medium body. High recommend. Have a few more bottles left would say drink now until 5 years tops. Not sure it will last longer.

Very nice. Drinkable. Nose is still very primary. Needs still time to integrate better, tons of oak and chalkiness. I usually like wines on the younger side but this one is a big HOLD. 92+++

Happy to report this is coming along slowly and steadily. Still tannic and needing time to stitch together some loose edges, but quite delicious after 3 hours of air. Unlike my last bottle, this was better on the second day.
Be patient.
