  • Happy to have kept it this long. Very much at peak. Fragrant, balanced, just what I hoped for.

  • PnP, then 30 minutes slow ox. Interesting and complex aromas of crushed raspberries, maybe some dried cherries with some herbs thrown in. Slightly rustic palate but nice, intense spicy red fruits with some earth and bay leaves. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and good acid balance. The complexity was a real plus. Seemingly near peak, this has the stuffing to last several more years before falling off. Well done!

  • A nice surprise. (Outside Oregon, I am not so knowledgeable about non-Burgundy Pinot Noir.) From the get-go, a tad too alcoholic on the nose, and too much wood (in this specific instance: ginger bread) on the palate, to my taste anyway. But once the wine settles down, on the nose, at lower frequencies, nice crushed raspberries, hints of violet (still a bit potent); on the palate, a round, comforting (perhaps too homogeneous) black fruit and tea leaves core with final notes of lemon, mint, and iron, nicely integrated tannins. Drinks pretty well now already, but bound to get better with time. 89-90

  • A solid down-the-middle Pinot leaning into ripe dark fruits with some lingering vibrancy. Not an exciting value in the mid-upper $20s USD, but solidly Very Good. This is easy drink and enjoy on its own and it worked with simple baked salmon with some herbs de provence. 13.5% abv.

  • Screwtop. Opened an hour or two before drinking, and the nose really developed in that time. Very big, aromatic nose. A full-bodied, deep, style of PN. Damson, meaty, earthy, spicy, long. Very satisfying.
