  The '64 Vietti Rocche was showing a gorgeous mineral driven bouquet with dried roses, dusty minerality, dried apple, herbs and medicinal cherry. On the palate, it was driven, zesty and intense as bracing acidity gave way to masses of inner florals and notes of dried strawberry. It finished long and feminine with lingering minerality and tart red berry fruit. This is perfectly mature and utterly enjoyable.
