  Deep brick-ruby, a little paler at the rim with some orange tones. Quite big legs. Intense meaty/gamey nose with some floral lift (violets ?). Deep and rich – a real sniffing wine. Quite full-bodied, quite low acidity, lowish and/or well-integrated tannins and a good touch of oak. Fruit now quite subdued to chocolate, spice and gamey tones, but some damson and blackberry still showing. Medium length, but great quality finish.
