Burgundy Dinner with Friends (Tasting Blind) (Officine Brera - Los Angeles CA): Served double blind to the dinner group, alongside the 1996. Such a similar profile, most tasters correctly identified these as from the same producer. Plenty of black fruit with red and blue berry hints and firm, but fine tannins. Good power and depth. Slightly less elegant vs the 1996, which helped me identify which was which.

Musique & Vin Festival BYO Dinner (Château de Meursault): Small glass, brief note. Firm black fruit with more firm tannins than I can recall from previous bottles. Less balance. 89-90 points today, but possibly an 'off' bottle.

The CFO's Birthday: Damn, this was great. Mature, deep core of fruit, gorgeous spices, and drinking wonderfully right now.

Charmes dinner. Linear, lightly floral. Super fresh. Good acidity, clean.
