(Bachelet Denis Charmes-Chambertin) Medium-plus colour. The nose shows more caramel, less dark oak, and a little more red and orange, though slightly estery, higher-toned fruit. The fruit aroma is nice but clearly less sophisticated versus the first two wines. Soft and silky with very fine acidity and (once more) simply superb length. The fruit on the palate is just a little riper than both of the first wines. A beauty

Super tasty! Drank next to 05' Mugneret Gibourg clos vougeot, which was also great, but I slightly preferred this bottle

Zachys La Paulée "Warm-up" Dinner (Lafayette - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. So much black and red cherry with raw meat. Both great power and balance. Wow, this is so impressive not just for its sheer weight and scale (expected), but its charm and accessibility (unexpected).

Infanticide. A little disjointed now though obviously a monumental wine in the making. The intense sweet bright red fruit was overwhelming and overriding the unexpectedly reserved and fine structure. This wine needs time. First bottle was corked.
