  A first for me, I think. So much Pinot-joy here at the moment, good acidity, red berries; on the night even a herbal hint, whiffed away on day 2, now just clean, precise and wonderful. A domaine to look for. 93++

Absolutely surprised how great it was drinking. The last out of the gate Bachelet Charmes I remember drinking this well was the 2008.

  (Domaine Denis Bachelet - Gevrey-Chambertin) Barrel tasting with Denis, Nicolas and Doriane. Less crops in 2019 due to hot and dry growing season, which caused hydric stress in August. Started picking from Sep 8.
  
  Here the nose is more restrained with blackberry, mineral and a whiff of fresh herbs; on the palate, precise, with good depth. 92+
