Brown sugar nose. Black fruit meets wood. Grippy tooth-coating med+ tannins, med. acid, reductive notes. 13% Alc.
This is my idea of old-school Burgundy, built for the long haul, unshowy and solidly good, hitting all those classic cold weather Pinot notes for me- bring on the cassoulet! Still somewhat grippy-tight but plenty enjoyable with airtime and you can see the potential to evolve and deepen. Others have described this cuvée as “sweet and savory” and I would agree. Sock away a bottle or three to try over the next decade…

Wow, so much concentrated and tannic that I could easily mistake it as a young Californian cab or South Australian Shiraz. Still very young. Will attack my next bottle in 2+ years

PNP. Very deep ruby color. Strawberry compote, slate, rose petals, and subtle cinnamon and thyme. Very smooth, dry palate, with fine, tongue coating acidity. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
Great bottle, enjoyed with my lady friend in Paris at Chez Fernand Christine. Excellent wine list at this little bistro. This was my second visit this month.

Huge nose of black cherries, charbon noir, tobacco, mineral... Very concentrated black cherries, loads of sappy tannin, very very delicious!!
