A decent sauternes but not as good as i was hoping. Lighter bodied with notes of apricot with a mineral finish. it did open up more after the exposure to air. 14.5% alcohol. Paid $36

Honey-colored and quite mellow, showing more rich botrytis spiciness than sweetness or acid. Apricots, some honey sweetness, and a lingering hint of citrus zest.

No formal notes as I had this at dinner with friends so this is all off of memory. Dark golden color to it. Gorgeous nose of honey, apricots and peaches. So beautiful and complex in the mouth with a ridiculously long finish. This is in an amazing place at the moment. Nice bit of acidity at the end to really keep this from being flabby at all. What a wonderful bottle of wine...

yonster24 pulled this from his cellar and we enjoyed it with a stinky cheese course to conclude a wonderful meal at Campanile. This Sauternes is rockin' right now -- beautiful amber orange color. Intensely expressive nose -- this bottle had zero signs of the oxidation noted by the previous reviewer -- and palate-enveloping waves of botrytis spice and sauternes wonderful! Luxuriously rich, and an appropriate dose of acidity kept this from being cloying. Beautiful beautiful beautiful!!

Nose seems overly oxidized but the palate contrasts sweet honey with a lovely 30 second finish. Moderately sweet, not teeth ache sweet, amber liqueur looking in the glass. I suspect this wine was damaged, despite the great palate. Maybe that is the nose that evolves in older Sauternes. FANTASTIC STUFF.
