Drank over two evenings. Great nose of tropical fruit and citrus that tastes the same way with the added bonus of balance, depth and fullness. This may be my favorite bottle of Aubert Chardonnay!

At home with Valerie, with some chicken Florentine. Chilled, PnP, drank over 2 hours. First notes on this vintage of Ritchie designate.
Medium yellow/gold color. Tropical fruit and saline on the nose (some heat?). Palate of candied pineapple, lemon meringue, baked apple, butterscotch. A lot going on here, citrus persists through the mid palate. Full body, long finish.
Very good, however, the one criticism I would have is there was more alcohol on the nose and though the mid palate than I have experienced. While the wine continued to evolve over the time we drank it, the heat became more notable an hour+ in. Creates some distraction from an otherwise very good Aubert

Rich, golden color, sophisticated peach, pear and lemon notes and the classic Aubert finish. Outstanding wine.

Love its intensity. Only going to get better. Hold or continue to drink for its enjoyment.

2/3 in the comparison tasting. Perfect balance of peach, pear, apple , tropical fruits and citrus. Remarkable.
