Weekly tasting group RWP #285: A mixed set (@ BS): The bouquet is nutty and somewhat oxidized. Also with fennel and honey. On the palate nuts, caramel, minerals and cumin. Ok acidity and a bit drying in the finish. Quite mature. No score.

Pale/medium lemon - youthful and bright. Nose initially shows slightly buttery, creamy oak, then slight floral notes and citrus. No sign of prem-ox at least. Similar creamy, buttery oak on initial attack, then citrus. This has very fresh acidity, it verges on tart in fact, and reasonable weight and concentration but lacks a little complexity and sense of place.

Spinning Capsule, unbleached cork. Medium density yellow straw color. Nose of pear and lemon, though not particularly intense. Very slight oxidative notes on the nose. Citrus and pears on the palate, great delineation, although light bodied, with some complexity. Abbreviated finish. 'Overall seemed off a bit, and overtime the oxidative character became more pronounced. After being open for about 3 hours no longer drinkable. BB Member Greg Spencer agreed that this was premature oxidation (of white burgundy). Already reported to Wiki: http://oxidised-burgs.wikispaces.com/

Underbart smeksamt vin med en stor fruktig doft och fyllig smak. Lång eftersmak. Inget premox. Väldigt gott
