Medium to full body. Nice big and spicey fruit on the nose and initial palate and then it tightens up and gets short into the mid palate and finish. This needs another 2-3 years to enter a prime window.

Bright fragrant fruity robe and strong impression on the front palate. There is a touch of bitter cherry. Some nice structure. Needs to balance out a bit but this has nice potential.

Bill Elbring of North Berkeley Imports (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR): Poured alongside the same vintage done in Amphore and this is vastly better. This smells proper, with a nice elegance and really big bloom of gorgeous fruit. Really really pretty. Palate is also more open and expressive of site, showing lots of elegance. Really really rich and pretty, elegant finish with rich acid lingering long into the beautifully fruited finish. This is what I like to see in the wine!
