Working wine wine Seminar two Burgundy, Beguiling, Bewildering and Beautiful (Est. Restaurant, George Street, Sydney): Medium minus intensity aromas. Almost a little resinous over wild black fruits, coffee. And so it roves on the palate, a little sour, savoury black fruit, tight and foursquare tannins. Finishes a little spiced. Not for me.

Dark, dense looking red in the glass. Bit of upfront smoke/earth character which is really attractive, with some light red cherry/strawberry fruit. Bit rustic looking on the palate in that it's chewy, has a mineral/stony vibe to it with dense tannins. Lovely structure actually. Pronounced tartness, leaves that lovely silky sour cherry aftertaste. Nice.
