Medium-deep ruby. Bright red cherries on the nose with some background baking spice. Medium-light body, medium acid, and mouthcoating tannins. Red cherry juice on the palate, with the fruit becoming darker with air, and good savory depth. Delicious.

On nose : pronounced intensity, red current, sour cherry, dark fruit skin, very significant tobacco leaves, lichorice, old pine oakiness, lovely aroma could be found.
On palate : med+ acidity, med to med+ intensity, sour red current, tobacco smokiness, tea leaves, med+ intensity on mid palate, med tannin and med alcohol and med body with some elegancy. Med+ finishing with some bitterness and subtle of spiciness aftertaste.
Overall speaking, this is a very good wine. Still a bit young. For me, the aroma is better than on palate. This wine is certainly able to have further development for the coming 5 years. I will wait for at least 3 more years to open my 2nd bottle. Cheers!

No obvious ripeness on the nose, medium rich, fairly dark cherry fruit, well structured, some stem and oak tannins (50% new oak), fairly rich, lasting finish, good balance for a somewhat "warmer" wine.

Visit to Faiveley - Vintage 2015 (Nuits St.Georges): During a Domaine tasting, only brief impression. Nose of red and dark fruit, earth. Tightly woven but ripe tannins, structured, one for the cellar but will be very rewarding once mature. Best not to open before 2023.

Winos' excellent adventure in France; 6/22/2017-6/27/2017 (All over France): Expressive nose displaying ripe but pure black fruits, crushed blackberry, black cherry, lavender, sweet spices and sap. Excellent concentration, decadent fresh black fruit driven palate impression, good acidity, strong presence of mineral, very fine tannins and a long pure black fruit driven finish. This clearly shows the improvement from the generation before. A beautiful young wine with generous pure black fruit. I doubt this will ever shutdown hard.
