  Beautiful bouquet with white fruits and some minerals. On the palate some butter and tropical flavors, beautiful and juicy acidity and some pleasant bitterness. Beautiful wine which will develop for the better with some more ageing.

  Needs a bit of a decant or a few minutes in glass to wake up. Nose of fresh cream, acacia, crushed rock, lemon peel, and a bit of wood. Explodes on the tongue, fleshy, rich, lemon pastry cream, green plums. a twinge of green herbs, chalky dry extract and a vibrant thrum of acid. Wonderful luscious mouthfeel. Oak still sticks out a bit here as well, but it’s not too obtrusive. Perhaps just a smidge unfocused, showing the warm year just a tad. Still, very nice with upside.

  The wine is solid; on the nose, it's full of aromas of pear, butter, minerals, wet stone and cream and a touch of green herb notes; vibrant acidity, medium body and medium alcohol level, a fresh finish.

  It was good and I liked it but it didn't stood up among a flight of other Chardonnay from Burgundy. The price didn't help, either.
