pale lemon gold, clean and bright. rich and multi-layered flavours, ripe lemon, pineapple, orange peel, honeycomb, some oak and spices. m+/full body, vibrant acidity, tight-knit sweetness. long finish with some savoury and white floral notes. a super balanced Sauternes, showing wonderful richness and complexity, yes, more complex than d'Yquem 1997 tonight. everybody's favourite one for tonight.

Already delicious and quite drinkable but very young, will age with grace over the next 30+ years so drink or hold but leaning strongly on the hold - see this eventually as a 95+ point wine. Definitely recommend and quite a good QPR wine at the average CT cost. Enjoyed in Helsinki at restaurant OLO as a dessert pairing with their higher end tasting and wine pairing menu. Full bodied, intense, warm, golden yellow, already well balanced and with a beautiful lengthy aftertaste and afterglow. Nose warm and tropical with nectarine, tangerine, honey and a more floral lilac finish. Flavor profile sweet but not at all cloyingly so and more fruit forward then the nose with orange, honey dew melon, apricot, mango and finishing with a hint of caramel. Archetypical excellent sauterne.

Tres joli sauternes qui évolue, on est moins sûr le fruit primaire - il est plus compote sans être lourd. Très bon

(midweek Canto Roast Duck w DY, Jeff, Kenneth & ZM) Lifted apricots, white florals, pineapple, marmalade, gentle bitter streak. Youthful, vibrant, juicy, exciting! Crystallised ginger, and swimming pool.
