  • Opened one bottle for science! From first pour the nose on this is fantastic. Dark fruit, a but of bacon, not getting any olive/brine. Night 1 it's a bit grapey, surprisingly untannic, not overripe or alcoholic at all. There's a nice lift and brightness in the finish...thanks viognier I guess. Night 2 it really tightens up and tastes more like a young vin de garde but still has that brightness to the finish, but now with more tannin and a touch of oak. This is going to age well but no harm in trying a bottle now with a proper decant.

  • Virkelig tæt kødfuld næse, vanilje, klart fadpræg, lidt brændte krydderier og sort oliven. Lidt lettere i munden, men stadig med meget, meget mørk frugt, forkulede brombær, kød, chili con carne og vanilje fra fadet. Det er virkelig en pumpet vin, det smager meget mere som cornas end cote rotie, den er selvfølgelig alt for ung, men fadet er alt for meget lige nu - det er store overarme og ingen hjerne. Resten ryger bagerst i kælderen og så får vi se om ti år
