Medium garnet core, pale garnet rim. Thus is fragrant, floral, red cherries, quite spicy - hint of ginger. Medium bodied, red cherry, spice, quite savoury too - soft tannins, fresh/vibrant acids, decent length finish with a burst of pure red fruit. This is very good indeed, and whilst it will certainly keep its very approachable now with no firm edges or sense of being tight or closed.

light color like other barbarescos. tasted young, and not ready to drink. The Ovello was smoother (2017). Consider cellaring? preferred the bruno Rocca which tasted sweeter. Purchased for 45 from Mission Wine & Spirits in Glendale.

Pale ruby. Medium - full bodied. High acidity. Classic nebbiolo flavour of cherries, strawberries, tar and licquorice. Delciously long finish but still very much in its youth.
