@home with wife. Big wine. So dead and muted on nose and palate at initial PnP. Was actually worried may be a bad bottle. Decanted for 2+ hours and this really opened up. Last drink was the best. Still a very muted fruit profile , but the acidity and tannins were as well so had good balance. This may be shutting down for a few years?

Tasting at Domaine Louis Jadot w/ Frederic: Oh my, a very clear step up in purity, richness and concentration. Plenty of fun now, including a silkiness to the tannin, but this will benefit from decades in the cellar. 95-96+

Wednesday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Louis Jadot, Faiveley, and Bernard Moreau (Cote d'Or): Tasted at Jadot. Riper yet, but seemingly marvelously balanced. Bold black fruit with subtle spice and meat hints, good+ density, texturally engaging. Finish just holds in the mouth. Very impressive 93-95 point potential.
