  Napa and Sonoma (Hamel, Jewell, Reeve, Enriquez, Wren Hop, Phifer Pavitt, Gamble, Markham, Amulet, Pride Mountain, Pahlmeyer, Arrow&Branch, Fait-Main); 7/10/2023-7/14/2023 (Sonoma and Napa): Tasted at the estate. Their "flagship merlot blend". 20 months in oak. Opened before we arrived. Ruby color. Medium tannin. Easy to drink.

  Blind tasting (K&L Wine Merchant - Redwood City): N: Dark, ripe red fruits with a nice buoyancy (a fun vibrancy to the fruits), rose petals, dried river minerals.
  
  P: Matching red fruits from the nose, along with a touch of raspberry with some cranberry skins, and dark minerals.
  
  Thinking process: I went through my entire wine Rolodex in my head, and mind you it does not have much cataloged other than cabs and a few other things, and I could not pick anything useful out of it to make an educated guess.
