Polished and precise, will be interesting to follow this in bottle. Tried 4 different variations including blended, Petit Musigny north, Le Musigny south and Le Musigny lower bordering Amoureuses, best of all.

Barrel tasting at winery. Purple rim, medium red color. Cranberry, raspberry, minerality, roasted garlic. Winemaker Jean Lupatelli said the minerality note is signature of limestone. Balanced and elegant. Very long finish.
Jean clarified that Vogue's Musigny are bottled either as Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru (declassified young vines of 25 years and younger) or Musigny. Vogue considers its vines "Vieilles Vignes" when over 25 years old. There are no distinction between Musigny and Musigny Vieilles Vignes.
